Caroline Horne

Caroline is not a Moultrie-Colquitt County native, but comes from Bainbridge, Georgia. You wouldn't know she wasn't born here because she loves this community like it is her own. She has truly immersed herself in community service and every day life in Colquitt County and has served as Executive Director of United Way of Colquitt County since July 9, 2018. She has served and currently serves on various boards and organizations, including but not limited to Kappa Delta Sorority (VP Standards 2007); VSU Ambassador; Greek Awakening Co-Founder; Moultrie Junior Woman's Club (President 2018); Moultrie Service League; Serenity House Board of Directors; Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce's Leadership & Development Committee; MCC Chamber Tourism Committee; Former Chamber Ambassador; Leadership Colquitt County Class of 2019; FEMA's Emergency Food and Shelter Local Board Chair; Local School Governance Team for C.A. Gray Jr. High (Chairperson 2years); Local School Governance Team for RB Wright Elementary School; Colquitt County Educational Foundation Co-Founder & Advisor; Colquitt County Family Connections Board of Directors (Treasurer); South Georgia LEADS Alumni; and recently appointed Secretary of the Board for the United Ways of Georgia State Association. During her tenure with United Way, the organization received the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce's Heart of Colquitt County Award and has been featured in many news articles and news stories both local and regional.

Becky Giddens

AmeriCorps Member and Social Media Coordinator

Becky is a dedicated Social Media Manager at United Way of Colquitt County and a proud third-year AmeriCorps member. A passionate advocate for her community, she also serves as a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and is a member of the prestigious Leadership Colquitt County Class of 2025. Becky holds an associate degree in Social Work from Southern Regional Technical College, where her journey with United Way began as an intern. Since joining the organization, she has found a profound sense of belonging within her community. Becky thrives on connecting with individuals, offering resources, and witnessing the relief and joy on their faces as they receive the help they need. Her commitment to service and her love for fostering positive change make her a vital part of both United Way and the Colquitt County community.


Angela Bowman

AmeriCorps Member and Outreach Program Coordinator

Angela is a passionate community advocate, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those around her; born and raised in Moultrie her commitment to service led her to AmeriCorps, where she has developed her skills and deepened her passion for her community. Currently, in her second year serving with United Way of Colquitt County, Angela brings a strong dedication to improving the quality of life for her neighbors and fostering a spirit of collaboration. As Outreach Program Coordinator she has a strong belief in the power of community and continues to work towards the betterment of those she serves, always putting people first and working to build a stronger, more resilient Colquitt County.
